CV3 meteorite. Slice with CAIs. Collection box

Great slice of carbonaceous chondrite meteorite type 3. Lots of chondrules can be seen together with excellent calcium aluminum-rich inclusions (CAIs) on this slice. CAIs can be 4.5 billion years old, being the oldest known matter in existence on Earth and predating the formation of our own planet and even the Solar System. Carbonaceous chondrites comprise about 4% of all meteorites observed to fall from space.

Please read this clarifying before buying: Paired with NWA 14100, belonging said number to Isabelle Pothier and currently the piece is under classification with Antony Love. All the pieces are sent in a methacrylate case with their label (provisional) and a certificate proving authenticity.
